You can increase your pet chickens’ calcium by adding crushed egg shells!
And here’s how I do it.
Remove the egg membrane. Wash and dry it.
Crush it with the back of a spoon.
Make sure it’s finely crushed.
Put it into the oven. Bake for 4 to 6 mins at 200 degree Celsius.
This is how it will look like. Let it cool down and crush those pieces you have missed out.
Just sprinkle into their bowl and serve these spoiled little chickens!
In this bowl, I have
- Greek yogurt
- Strawberries
- Blackberries
- Blueberries
- Chopped lettuce and oregano
- Chia seeds
- Diatomaceous earth
- Crushed and baked egg shells
- Dried mealworms
